Lisa

Owner/Stylist
Lisa has over 25 years of experience, and is an owner of Urban Rose. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her partner, Eric, and their dogs, Max and Turbo. She has a passion for beekeeping and has even earned her Master Gardening certificate from Michigan State University.
Emily
She/her
Owner/Stylist
Emily started out in Berkley as an apprentice, worked in Royal oak, Ferndale now back to Berkley… and now salon owner…full circle! Emily has 20 plus years of experience. She teamed up with Lisa to create the best salon in the world. “We have a unique chill environment that gives you top-notch hair Experience!” Emily specializes in color, color corrections, and the latest hair cutting trends!

Stylist
Sara is so happy to be back in the area, working with talented, like-minded women. Being in the industry for 25 years and spending the last 13 at a home studio, she has finally found her work home at Urban Rose. A well rounded stylist who really just wants to give people the hair they have always wanted, she offers everything from color corrections and updos to bald fades and brow tint/shaping. When she isn’t working, she is most likely gardening or doing mom shit.

Manager/Stylist
Nicole Gearing is the manager of Urban Rose Salon. Along with her manager position, Nicole has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2012. who specializes in hair extensions.
Emma

Receptionist
Emma is the Saturday receptionist and spends her weekdays in school to be a nail tech! Special thanks to the stylists at Urban Rose for encouraging her to take the leap! In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, cuddling her cat, and decorating her Animal Crossing island.

Receptionist
Emma is the newest member of our team and is currently working as a receptionist! They are also a licensed cosmetologist who has been in the industry for five years. When Emma isn't working, you can find them watching Rupaul's Drag Race, snuggling their cats, and going on adventures!
